Roaring 20s - Welcome celebration All School of Economics students and staff of the University of Edinburgh are welcome to come together for a reception before the official January Welcome Event. There will be drinks and nibbles on arrival. There will be a word of welcome from the University before the main official January Welcome Event 'Welcome to the Roaring 20s' begins. McEwan Hall will be taken over by the incredible Edinburgh University Jazz Orchestra (EUJO) who will be playing music from 1920-2020 to celebrate a new decade! With the Big Cheese DJs taking over afterwards.This event will become the official welcome celebration and see the new semester start with a bang. Tickets are in aid of the Edinburgh RAG chosen charities and are priced at £3. Edinburgh RAG stands for Edinburgh Raising and Giving. We are a group of Edinburgh students interested in raising as much money as we can for charitable causes.
