MA Geography and Economics, 1994 Neil Scotland now works for the European Commission in Brussels, where he advices on policy for natural resources in the EC development aid programme. He also works on a freelance basis for the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), writing the Indonesia Country Report. Prior to moving to Brussels, he worked in Indonesia for the Department for International Development (DFID) and briefly as a journalist for The Jakarta Post newspaper.
