Open Days

Open Days are a very useful way to find out more about our degrees from the people who know it best: our staff and students. The School of Economics offers multiple on-campus Open Days for undergraduates in October. 

Offer holder events

Online and campus offer holder events are a great opportunity to find out more about the School and ask us questions. If you have received an offer to study with us, you will receive more information on how you can attend. 

Visit us

The central University campus, where we are located, can be visited any time you like. Free self-guided tours are available.

The School of Economics unfortunately cannot meet with or provide tours to individual prospective students and/or their supporters. We recommend that you join our Open Days and offer holder events, where you will be able to view our buildings and speak with our staff. 

Outside of these events, please email our dedicated Student Experience team if you have any questions about studying Economics as an undergraduate at the University of Edinburgh.

Location

The School's offices are located at 30 and 31 Buccleuch Place, Edinburgh, EH8 9JT.

Our undergraduate Student Hub and Student Support & Experience team are located at 13-15 South College Street, Edinburgh, EH8 9AA. 
 

Accessibility

Our 30 and 31 Buccleuch Place offices are unfortunately not fully accessible. There are steps to the main entrance and stairs (no lift) between floors. Our staff are happy to arrange meetings in accessible locations or online.

The Economics Student Hub (ground floor) and Student Support & Experience offices (third floor) at 13-15 South College Street are fully accessible. Accessible toilets can be found on the first and second floor of the building.
